Wooten is admitted to the bars of the NJ State bar as well as the US District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of NY and all District Courts in NJ. She is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and served on the Moot Court Honour Society. Miss Wooten has experience representing clients regarding violations of the fair housing act; discrimination based on age, race, gender, religion, national origin and disability. She has also represented clients in chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcies; employment contract disputes; whistle blowing and unfair labour practices. While attending law school Miss Wooten worked at the NYS Department of Labour's Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, Brooklyn Law School's Law Library and interned at the Civil Division of the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of NY. She has taught as an adjunct professor at John Jay College and the College of New Rochelle. Miss Wooten is a board member of the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals, a not-for-profit organization designed to provide pro bono assistance to urban communities. Miss Wooten is also a member of the American Bar Association. Senior Partner F. Richard Hurley is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School. Mr. Hurley is admitted to the NY, DC, SDNY and EDNY bars. Mr. Hurley worked as a prosecutor in Queens County from 1990-to 1994, where he handled homicides from arrest to conviction. Mr. Hurley also worked as a criminal defense attorney for twenty years where he handled misdemeanors and felonies in three of the five boroughs in NYC. Mr. Hurley has also represented clients in commercial real estate and business matters. Mr. Hurley taught math and criminal law at Touro College and Medgar Evers College respectively. Mr. Hurley is the founder of the Crown Heights Community Council and serves on the board for the Brooklyn Community of Churches. Senior Counsel Marcel Florestal is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law where he was co-editor of the Fordham Corporate Law Journal. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Florestal is admitted to the Bars of the State of New York, the Southern and Eastern District Courts of NY and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Florestal is a member of the Tax and Entertainment Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York County Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Florestal was employed with EMI Capitol Music Group where he gained vast experience in the Entertainment Industry. Some of the notable contracts that Mr. Florestal handled while at EMI include those of Tina Turner, Garth Brooks, and Bob Seger. Subsequent to law school, Mr. Florestal practiced tax and estate planning with Deloitte & Touche, Tohmatsu LLP.
