Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Under GEORGIA law I was sentenced to a 10-1 for felony possession with intent to distribute UNDER CONDITIONAL DISCHARGE. Can I become a law enforcement officer.

Does Conditional discharge mean that it will not show up if i check the ~Not a felon~ box. I would just like to know before I start heavy schooling for Criminal Justice. Is it a waste of my time or will I be able to actually get a job as a Lawyer/Police Officer/Da

I know it takes time to prove that you're really changing for the better but under Georgia Law will I be accepted or denied even after a certain amount of time?

Conditional Discharge-Says i'm not pleading guilty to the crime?

Please Help

The type background check that is done for law enforecement includes a criminal history broader than most employers see. They'll be aware of the arrest and disposition, and it is unlikely you would ever be POST certified with that charge.
