Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
My husband is on parole last year he was arrested for a crime he didn't commit. After months of dead end court hearings his bail was lowered to $50,000 and we were able to bail him out. A few days after being released he reported to parole, was assigned a new parole officer. Not once did they tell us he violated the terms of his parole, in fact they told us that he didnt. Yesterday his new parole officer sent him to a halfway house. Is that legal?

I wouldn't worry about whether or not it was legal. The bigger concern is whether he has a good attorney. After all, if you have a good defense but a bad lawyer, it might not be a good combination.
