Legal Question in Administrative Law in India

I had a passport when i was a minor.. it was made by my parents.. that passport expired in feb2015.. the date of birth and name in my minor age passport doesnt match with my marksheet of 10th class.. now when my minor age passport was expired i applied for new passport again some days ago.. after scanning of documents there at the last counter my old passport and details came out.. they first asked me to bring my old passport and put my current applied ppt on hold.. reason given for hold was - suspension of old ppt. When i went to next date there they cancelled my old minor ppt and put my new applied ppt on hold again saying that - clarafication of old ppt and dob proof for new ppt.. i am very worried.please suggest me the right way what to do and how please help me out
