Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in India

I (Bangalore) applied for quashing of FIR to High Court for 323, 324, ( a false complaint registered by the in laws against my daughter, son in law, and my family that we have beaten him when they were beating my daughter one evening and i rushed to pick her up. i have been granted stay on all further proceedings and case posted to next month (June). Copy sent to concerned PS, LOWER COURT and R2 and R3). What is next? will it be quashed in the next date since it is only 323, 324 (family quarrel). Is it the next step for quash and what are the chances of getting FIR quashed in high court in next hearing in June 2014. If not, how this quashing case will proceed? The R2 and R3 9FIL and step mother in law) have been issued notices from High Court. However, the in laws are in 323. 324. 506 etc and 354 for physically attacking my daughter, MLC registered and on conditional bail, whereas we are on simple bail. The police have also registered 498A and 304 DP against the in laws subsequently ( same PS where the in laws had used influence and spent money to get us FIRd on false complaint from the in laws).

Compromise the case with them as their consent is very much required for the quashing or compounding of the charges against you. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
