Legal Question in Banking Law in India
How to open an account for a Housing Society in any bank? Whether the registration is necessary for this purpose if so how to register housing society and where? We are living in a housing complex in West Bengal, India.

Dear Madam / Sir,
A bank A/c for a co-operative housing society is opened by virtue of the general body resolution signed by all the members of the Society as on the date of passing the resolution, duly registered with the local Registrar of Co-operative Societies situated in your locality.
