Legal Question in Banking Law in India

Sir Myself Abhishek Kumar. I want to know that before 2 years ago a person who is my customer for few months (10 Months) he tell me that he want to open an account in PNB bank Please sighn the introducer,s column & I feel that he is my customer so that I sighn in introducer,s column in bank account opening form. now he misused his account I don't know how. So please tell me or advise me that in that case according to law will i am guilty or not please sir.

Dear Sir / Madam,

As an introducer, you have only signed that the person is known to you. There is no guarantee of any nature nor liability on your part for the transactions the person has with the bank. It is purely between the bank and the person, you are in no way involved.
