Legal Question in Business Law in India
my father running a small retail shop from past 54 years with out any rent, but we don't have any document other then tax receipt. in any way we can have a legal shop.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Your father still remains the tenant of the retail shop by virtue of the tax receipt. Your father will have to negotiate with the Owner / landlord of the shop and acquire ownership rights iff both the parties mutually agree to specified terms and conditions for conversion from tenancy to ownership.
