Legal Question in Business Law in India

Hi,

I see many website sharing information on different topics, some technical, some non technical. Some just creates blogs and share photos, videos from around the word.

My question is do we need to register a website with govt and pay fees annually. I have my website http://mycitymychoice.com where i share information about my city Kharsia and some govt. news for welfares. I also share news which i get from other sources like govt news website and my friends who are reporters and running their own local news channels.

So far i am not making any profit from advertising or any other mean. So could you please suggest do i really need to register my website and if yes what would be the category.

Thanks,

Ainash

Dear Sir / Madam,

No, you do not need to register your website with any authority. The world wide web ((Internet) is an absolutely free neutral medium of communication globally.
