Subject : Regarding A BSNL lease line Issued To Company
Hello,
My Name is Nujoom Nazar.
I have a situation here.
I was working with a Private limited Company in india.I was one of the Alternative director of that company.During my time we took a lease lie connection for this company in the office.i signed the documents on behalf of this company at that time.i resigned my position on Nov 2013 .And company was taken care by directors of this company.and it is closed after six months.there is some due amount came after my resignation.And the directors didn't changed the authority name.the bill came to me in the name of this company.what should i do.?

Dear Nujoom.

If the bill is in the name of the Company, you are in no way individually liable to pay and settle the bill.
