Dear Dishari,

The previous Landlord-Tenant relationship has been abolished since 1985 and it has been replaced by the Licensor-Licensee relationship since then which is governed vide an Agreement for Leave and License wherein the lease is for a fixed term duration ranging from 11 (eleven) months to maximum 03 (three) years. I am not a fortune teller that I will be in any position to predict the outcome of the case, but I know for sure that the Licensor who has leased the shop or premises to you, can ask you to vacate it by serving the agreed notice period in writing to vacate it.

Regards,
