Dear Sir
I have got the Stay on maintenace on Charge on certain plot of land of my husband but despite of this order my husband has sold some plots out of it. Just asked my lawyer about it he is saying that we need to file the contempt petition through filing another suit. i am a poorer lady i cant understand may i inform the same court that my husband has done the contempt of court by selling it and he should be punished i dont have money to file another suit for it plesse suggest

if you dont have the money to pay the lawyer the state will provide you a lawyer free of cost. approach the legal aid and advice centre in the court and get a lawyer or the court may provide you a lawyer. As for the contempt the procedure have to be followed there are no shortcuts to that.

Dear Madam,
Yes, you may request the same Court that your husband has blatantly ignored the Court order and that contempt proceedings should be initiated by the same Court against your husband.
