Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Sir, I am a farmer and I have three sister and one brother [government staff]. We are all married [I spent my own money and effort for all my sisters marriage before 1989, I brought a plot to my elder sister since her husband came to our village and stayed with us, my brother dont have any job during that time]. They are all settled.

At present my brother and myself are staying in a house of my grandfathers [mother's father] land [2000 sq. feet]. We dont have any other family assert apart from the place where I am staying now.

My sisters are fighting and annoying me to get the split of the land due to some misunderstanding and family fight, my brother also disputing my sisters.

Now my questions is I read in article saying that the women who married before 1989 doesn't have rights to fight for ancestors assert. I would like to know is that true? Also please advise me on further proceedings.

Your line of action will depend upon the case filed in court by your sisters. It may be premature at this stage to form any opinion.
