Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Sir i am living in dehradun last 5 year . my native place in up . now i am using all of document of my "up" address . now i need to apply passport .
now problem is that on which address police verification occur as i wrote my present address of dehradun and my permanent address of up . as no one live on up address from my family.

Dear Tanmay,
If you have been continuously living in your present address in Dehradun for the past two years or more, you will have to apply for your Passport at the present address, since the Police verification will be done at your present address and not your permanent address.
