Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Dear sir,

I was working in dubai for (2004-2010) 5 years in a construction company as secretary. And was getting AED 5500 as salary. During my stay i bought a new car through a bank loan and paid the instalments regularly for one year. But in 2010 due to the recession company terminated me along with too many other people. I lpst my job and i had to return to india immediately. Now work as a supervisor with a village small type house contractor and getting a salary of 8000. Now some people calls to my grandmothers land line number which was the only number i had in india at that time to to give to the bank for the loan and threatens her that they are from interpole, sometimes they say from dubai and they need the money back. I asked my grandmother to give my number and they called me i explained my situation and i said i have my companies termination letter so it was not something i purposefully done to get rid off the loan. With this salary i said i can not pay the back. Then they said come and meet them at their office in kochi ( they said they are the recovery agents) but of fear i did not go. Now after six months to that they again called my grand mother and threatens. She is 76. Please tell me what is the permanent solution ot this

Dear Sir / Madam,

When you lost your job in Dubai, it was your duty to return back the car to the Financing Company from whom you availed the car loan. I hope that you did not sell the car in Dubai to a third party and utilized that money too for your personal use in Dubai prior to your return back to India. Secondly you surely ought to have received your terminal benefits from the Company which could have been used to pay off and settle your car loan. You should call them up and ask them to meet you in person at the village, town, district, city and state where you are presently located. Should they threaten you, lodge an FIR in the local Police station.
