Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I had opened a HDFC salary account in December 2012 & i left job in feburary 2013..And i did not use my HDFC Account so far.But Now it is showing -4783.00(negative) in current balance.. How can I get rid of this.. I had not use Debit card, Cheque books etc. So far.. I have contacted HDFC representative and he told me to clear it out or never open the account in the same in future again..

My account branch is Sarita vihar but I have done my job in Meerut...I can't understand anything..

So, Kindly Help me out because monthly penalty is around Rs.:-350/-.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Simply close your HDFC Bank A/c since you are no longer employed in the Company that you were working with when you opened the A/c, and if you are no longer going to operate that A/c. Banks levy charges for non-operation of A/c.
