So sir, as you said I have done a mistake, I should have told him to give directly to them. But sir, now can he complaint on me?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Yes, since the money has been paid to the agency through your A/c, the agency will refund the money back to you and you in turn remain liable to repay the money to your friend.
