Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My brother was arrested for rape and cheating sec 376 and sec 417. It was a consensual affair for over a year but this case was filed to force him to marry. From 3 months he is jail. We applied and got bail but we couldn't get anyone to stand surety as he was arrested in Mumbai where we don't know anyone, we applied for cash bail but it was rejected in sessions court.please advise wht to do next.
