Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

my brothers wife is extremely bad tempered. she oftenly beats husband & misbehaves with family,randomly demands expensive items.she has gave birth a child 3 months ago& still in fathers house.when her husband went there to bring her back to matrimonial home along with the child, she & her family beat the husband brutally,refused to go &demanded; cash rs50000 & write the matrimonial to the girls(wife) name.they are blackmailing us from past almost 2 yrs treating of falsely putting charge of domestic violence I.e.act 498 how can we get rid of this problem? can my brother get a divorce without any false alligetion?

There should be valid ground of mental cruelty for divorce.
