Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
my friend had sexual intercourse with her partner when she was 16 and he was 19 and now she's 17 and will be 18 in august now her partner is worried if anyone can file a complaint against him excluding the girl and her parents and if so will the girl's consent be counted? who can file a complaint against him and what is the limitation period for filing it?

the offense been committed and in such matters, there is no limitation. The case can be filed anytime. However, keep your fingers crossed.
