Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am being tortured by my in laws. My wife loves me but when she meets her mother/father she becomes a brainless person and starts doing whatever they say. My in laws put undue pressure on me to visit them with my wife every week and when I go there they insult me by passing indirect remarks on my salary and job.
This all started when just after 7-8 months of my marriage my brother in law asked for 80000 rs from me to do his CFA course. I did not have money and I refused. Since then everytime I go to their house they insult me big time that I am worth nothing and they could have found a better guy for their daughter
My father in law said to my dad that they should have done deeper background check on me to see whether I can actually support my family
They insult me like this in every function I go to in front of all their relatives
My mother in law told my mother that I am an impotent guy, to address her concerns I planned a child and when my wife was pregnant my
Mother in law gave her all fatal advice like don't take medicines of the doctor he takes you to. There was a point in my wife's pregnancy when my unborn child became underweight due to non intake of doctor's medicines. By grace of God we were blessed with a baby girl and now my father in law is asking my wife to take
The child and go to his place permanently as your husband won't be able to give you a good life
Whereas the fact is that I am well rounded employed guy with decent salary to support my family. All they want is to separate my wife from me so that they can ask for compensation for my wife and child from me.
What can I do. I am totally depressed

You may seek restraining orders against your in laws but before that you can try mediation.
