Legal Question in Family Law in India

Ours is a love marriage, we ended up marrying after 10 years of long distance relation and now its been 2 years that we are married. My husband is from New Delhi and i am from Pune. He is in Merchant Navy and mostly sails in international waters. I am a Software Engineer in an MNC in Pune. The problem is that my in-laws and my husband are forcing me to work in Delhi instead of Pune. I am not willing to shift to New Delhi since i am not finding any suitable job there and most importantly i dont feel like working or living there. My in-laws are extremely orthodox and i find it very uncomfortable living with them. I cannot live with them for 6 months specially when my husband is sailing. This has resulted in lots of quarrrels and verbal outrage in our relation. I have purchased a 1 BHK flat in Pune, for which i am paying the EMI. My in-laws expect expensive gifts from me. I did every possible thing to keep them happy, but in the end all i get to hear is their discrimination about my caste, colour, the fact that i didnt gave them dowry, and lot more. My husband will be coming back next month. Please advice if there is any legal action that i can take to get everything settled down. I am so much frustrated with the ongoing fights and taunts from my in-laws. If we talk about our family backgrounds then I come from a very normal family & even after my marriage i support my parents and younger sister financially. And his family has a history for divorces. His eldest sister got divorced and she stays with them. His younger brother got divorced and he is jobless. His second elder sister is on the verge of getting a divorce. Please help me with this, i dont want a divorce. I just want to know my legal rights against this situation.
