Legal Question in Family Law in Mexico

Hi, I'm mexican, and I have a son who was born in USA, the son's father sent me a form to fill of child support from attorney general, my question is if he can ask for custody of child?

Yes He can. If you�re living in Mexico (or USA) I would advice you to get mexican nationality for your child also (he can have both nationalities). Also everything depends on the agreement of custody or divorce that you signed (if you signed any documents). From the mexican law standing point of view the Mother-child relation is more protected than in the States since here it is very rare that a custody is granted to the father. Best regards.
