Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir,

I was recently married. before marriage my husband and his fammily had not asked me for any dowry and since we are educated people and so are they we had married according to usual traditions. after marriage , specifically from 3 days onwards he started asked my dad to write all our property in his name. additionally my mom-iin-law on the pretext of visiting my parents' house checked all the cupboards when my mom was in the kitchen cooking. and then asked for that gold to be given to them. we refused. However my relatives adivsed me to file a case under section 498a against him. i did not because I did not want the house quarrels, that too within 2 months of marriage escalate to police. so i remained adamant not to file 498a.. my husband then filed a complaint against me.(what is the complaint, I am yet to know) in the local police station(with the corrupt police in his pocket no doubt). now my question what should I do? how to prove what happened(my mom-in-law asking for jewels and my husband asking for property) as he asked face to face and I do not have any evidence, since it happened immediately following marriage. (note: my husband is a prominent member of siff).
