Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir/madam, I married in august 2013. i have a baby girl. ln july 2015 my wife with kid went to my Father-in-laws house.
after that she doesn't want to come to my place(we have no issues with each other). my family tried in all possible ways to bring her back.
and from other sources we came to know that they are expecting a big amount from us. according to me she's forced by Father-in-law for not joining with me.
otherwise she is ok to stay with me. and from past 1 year i'm waiting for her. can somebody suggest me can i give a "LawyerNotice -restitution of conjugal rights" to my wife and uncle to send her back.
The reason iam asking for this is "they are threatening me if i ask her to come back they will put a case against me with "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE". Please suggest - Thanks, Siva
