Legal Question in Family Law in India

my sister is threatning my parents that she will give legal notice for claim in their self acquired property(currently self occupied), or equivalent amount of money, property is name of my mother who is alive we are one brother and two sisters. Father is also alive. does law entitles her to do so and what action can we take against her, My sister is married and settled in USA with her husband,she has a child as well.

since the property is self acquired she can not claim any share in the property ...

your mother can use it as well dispose the property as her own wish .........
