Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pakistan

1. In a defamation suit against "newspaper, its printer publisher & Editor": Is it must to implead the defamers by name. Shall their act of defamation be considered official on behalf of newspaper or it shall be their personal liability.

2. In case of death of newspaper editor, printer & publisher; shall the suit abate when newspaper editor, printer & publisher were not sued by name but they were sued as newspaper editor, printer & publisher.

If its a registered newspaper, the suit shall be filed against the newspaper not its personnel.. The suit can never abate even if the employees of an organization die during the pendency of suit.. For more consult [email protected]
