Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India

The house that i live in was bought by my father who passed away few years back but the house still stands on his name. We(all legal heirs of my father) want to get the property title transferred to one person (either me or my mom). None of his legal heirs has any problem with that. So, i would like to know the procedure for that.

Dear Sir / Ma'am, Presuming that the house owned from you're father is of self-acquired property, not being the H.U.F property, then avail the survival certificate, get the No-Objection-Certificate (N.O.C) from rest of the heirs, and apply it for Khata by complying to the rest of rules formulated at you're local body, Or Municipality. Thank You, Kind Regards, Sanjay. K. Dixit, Advocate.
