Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Dear sir,
I served my notice period according to my company policy. Company accepted my resignation & release me accordingly but due to personal grudge my ex boss hold my release letter & settlement cheques. He told me the reason to hold that there is a mistake done by me in the company process that's why I hold your release letter & Cheque.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You may very politely tell your boss to explain what is the mistake you have done by you and pay and settle your full and final dues within 3 (three) days, else straightaway lodge a Police complaint for cheating (IPC 420).
