Dear DM,

I have stated several times that an employment or service bond of any form or nature or pretext, being deemed bonded labour and against the tenets of natural justice, is illegal and a criminal offence making the employer and all the concerned officials of the establishment liable to pay a fine of Rs. 1,00,000/- and / or six months simple imprisonment or both.Yes, you certainly can break the bond by simply serving the Notice Period of one or two or three months as contained in your Appointment Letter. You may refuse to pay the amount being demanded by the Company, citing all the above ground.
