Legal Question in Employment Law in United Arab Emirates

Hi,

I have 2 questions.

1. If employee absent on thursday and sunday assuming friday saturday weekend off than employee is eligible for salary for these 4 days?

2. Salary computation are based on 30 days or just the working days which is 22 days in my case. please refer me the article number in law. Thanks

Dear Sir / Madam,

1. If the employee takes leave on the preceding and succeeding days of two holidays, he will be deemed to have availed of four days leave. If there is leave to the credit of the employee, it will be adjusted against his leave balance. If the employee has already exhausted all his leaves, it will be treated as leave without pay.

2. Salary computations are based on 30 days working since on an average, there are five holidays in the month.
