Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I joined Infosys and during the training I started having severe neck pain.I somehow completed the training and came back home for treatment but the pain persisted.I got mails from Infy asking to join right then or quit.I quit because of my poor health.Now they sent legal notice asking for 1.6 lacs because I couldn't fulfill their bond agreement.What should I do?It isn't like I joined some other company!I am still at home recuperating.This pain started when I joined Infy so I quit the job.Please help.
