Legal Question in Employment Law in India

i have a notice period of 2 month mentioned in the appointment letter , i have informed them that i can serve for only one month,there is no details about company blocking 1 month salary mentioned in the document,,,what action can company take against me and what i can do

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should complete whatever pending assignments you were handling as on the date of your resignation and handover Company owned assets in your custody to your reporting Manager in the presence of HR on or prior to your last working date in the Company. You should issue a request letter therewith requesting the Company to waive off the remaining balance notice period of one month and pay and settle your dues and issue a Service Certificate. Since the appointment letter is silent about notice pay recovery, the Company is not legally entitled to deduct and retain the remaining one month's notice period not served by you with the Company.
