Legal Question in Employment Law in United Kingdom

I was sacked from work (as a senior staff nurse) in March 2014 and had my appeal meeting on 15 th April 2014. I was told at the meeting that I would get some feedback within 2 weeks of the meeting and would hear the outcome of the appeal within 3 weeks. It has now gone over that time and have still not heard anything. Can my appeal be quashed?
