Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hi, I am working in HCL tech and last year I resigned because I got an offer from TCS and my manager retained me on the basis that same package will be given to me here. And I let go that job opportunity, but till now my package has not been revised and I am being told one reason after another. I do not think so it can be resolved inside the company. I left my JOB opportunity and they fooled me by committing me the same package and this is a harassment for me to listen to new excuses every now and then. What legal action can be taken against my manager or HCL. Please advice

Dear Sir / Madam,

I know it is easier said than done ... but never resign from your existing job unless and until you have firmed up your decision on taking up a new job ... and having resigned thereafter, never ever look back, come what may. If you have any letter / memo or document in writing from the Company mentioning the fact that your package is increased to Rs. _______ (exact specific amount) with effect from ______ (Date), you can politely pursue the matter with the Company. If you don't, you can do nothing about it. "Once bitten, twice alert, and move on."

Regards,
