Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Sir, I am staying at a Paying Guest. I was in my office on Thursday and when I reach home i saw my paying guest main door was open and there is forced entry to the rooms and my laptop which cost around 80K was taken by the theives. In this who will be the responsible for the security of the paying guest? Can I ask the owner to return the cost of my laptop ? Is he responsible.

1) Providing security to ur belongings is not the owners duty.
2) U r responsible for ur own belongings.
3) Lodge FIR with Police who will investigate.
4) If the owner has role in the theft Police will take care.
