Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in United States

Hello,

I had sinus/septoplasty/rhinoplasty surgery done by ent/plastic surgeon on December, 2015.

Four months after surgery I started to have very bad burning facial pain, severely diminished sense of smell (it changed right after surgery), my nose feels like it's getting too much air and burning when inhale, sleeping at night became changing.

I saw another ent Doctor that told me that my turbinates were redused. This was an absolute shock to me because the surgeon never ever mention, discussed this with me. I also checked the surgery agreement and it clearly says "endoscopic sinus surgery/septoplasty/rhinoplasty".

All what is happening to me now is the result of turbinate reduction surgery, that I didn't need, and was never aware of. One side was redused very aggressively.

I also have a perforated septum as a complication.

My life is becoming a nightmare.

If there is anything I can do in this situation?
