Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Dear Sir,

My father has gifted his own property to his illegal wife whom he married without divorcing my mom.

My mom had given gold n cash at the time of buying this property. but she doesn't have any proof for the same.

kindly suggest me if my mom being his legal first wife has any right to get share in my father's property. kindly suggest options we have..would be of great help..thank you..

If it was your father's self acquired property, he can gift it to any body. Whether this gift can be challenged can only be decided after verifying the nature of the property, one thing is sure.... that is ... you can challenge his second marriage as null and void. You have options.
