my father have land in avadi.the sqft 1800.he want to change 800sqft in my name.what is the procedure,need any registration amount and how to make a document foor my father and for me

It can be done either by way of Will, gift, sale or any mode of transfer. I a gift deed you need not pay any fee.

Ask him to execute a gift or release deed wrt to the said land and have the said deed registered in the office of the tehsildar and then get the land mutated in your favour in the records of the Patwari. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
