neighbour dispute
my neighbour has a huge old tree which has grown over my fence and is hiding all the light to my conservatory. can i cut down all the branches that overhang into my property or do i have to get him to do something and if so what rights do i have to get him to do something.

Make sure the tree is on his property. Ask him to remove the limbs. If he refuses you remove them and charge him for the cost. A person does not have the right to use another's property by way of their trees overhanging.
