Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My society in Mumbai recently had renovations where by Beams & columns were repaired in the common areas as well as inside the flats of a number of owners. My flat which I have been maintaing well all these years dis not require any repair. While I have paid for the repair of beams and columns in the common areas I am being asked to pay for the beam & column Repairs inside the flat. According to me I Don't need to pay it as the flat owners have not taken good care of their flats , but still I request a legal view on the same.

1) Follow the bye-laws and resolutions of the Society.
2) Look at the general interest also not the individual interest alone.
