Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

Good evening sir,
my question is (my father has 2 sons ,my father had purchased a plot 20 years back in his elder sons name(me) now father is no more ,i am staying in ground floor and my younger brother stays on 1st floor.I want to sell the plot but my younger brother has invested lacks in renovation on the 1st floor now younger brother is saying you cannot sell the flat as our father had purchased it no matter whose name ,younger one is saying that he do have a 50 % right on this property ,sir i want to know is my younger brother has right in this property or not as our father had purchased the plot in elder son (my) name.
