Legal Question in Consumer Law in Alabama

Purchase of Authorized User Account

I purchased two tradelines from someone who I thought was a person of integrity. The individual does credit repair and he finds clients who are more than willing to add you on their credit card accounts as an authorized user for a price. This helps to boost your credit score so that you can get a good interest rate on the purchase of a home. I paid this guy over 3 1/2 months ago and he has yet to produce the two tradelines that I purchased and the 90 day contract agreement has expired. I asked for a refund and he will not give me one. Neither has he done anything to help me repair my credit. What can be done about this legally.

Re: Purchase of Authorized User Account

You can probably sue under the credit repair organization act - a federal law. It is a pretty strong law for consumers. Call me if you would like to discuss this.
