Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Do I have to give out the name of the person I'm dating?

My soon to be ex and I are in the process of divorce/child custody. He was granted temp. custody of our children until we go back to court. When the children came to see me they were here for a month, all of us spent the night at my boyfriends house for a couple of nights. My soon to be ex is now stating that he wants me to tell him the guys full name, I don't want to as I am afraid he's going to try and cause trouble for this man. I will (hopefully) get the children for a week in Oct but I have a feeling before he lets me get them he'll make me tell him this man's name so that he can do whatever it is that he is going to do. He didn't share with me the babysitters name that spent the night and took care of our children, and he still says he just didn't see any purpose in even getting it for himself. He didn't tell me the last names of the women he went to see for a weekend visit either. So, my question is: do I have to devulge this information in full? Do I have to tell him his first and last name? He knows his first but not his last. When I get the opportunity to have a visit is it a MUST that I tell him and his lawyer my boyfriends name? Even if I don't plan on spending any nights there? Thanks for taking the time to read.

Why are you dating in the first place? You are still married and that's considered adultery. You have now given your husband (you can call him your "soon to be ex," but let's face facts) a great chance to have permanent custody and the judge a great reason to grant it. Having your children around this adulterous relationship is more fuel to the fire. If you were my client, I would probably withdraw from representation.
