Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Alabama

I am trying to get my Mom's life insurance. My Dad was the benefactor and he is dead. My Mother nor Dad had a will. Insurance people are asking for Tax EIN number, I got that and filled out there paperwork, but now asking for estate papers. What to do?

You need to go to probate court and petition to become the estate administrator for death without a will. You more than likely will need an attorney because it is complex. You will have to have a probate bond, which means no felonies or bad credit.
