Legal Question in Personal Injury in Alabama

Jurisdiction issues

We would like to sue a German manufacturer in the US. How do we go about getting jurisdiction? Medical device was implanted in Germany(US citizen) and broke a year later (in the US) with severe consequences for patient. We need jurisdiction in the US because German law offeres little to no compensation.

Re: Jurisdiction issues

If they do business in the United States and have an office in the United States, you can most likely get jurisdiction under the Hague Convention. [email protected]
