i defaulted on credit cards around sept 07,the statue of limitations ran out under old law,am i right or can the new sol apply to my accts

There are two different statutes the court looks at... 3 years from the last payment on the credit card... or 6 years on the breach of promise. If the credit card company did not sue you within 3 years of your last payment, they may be unsuccessful in winning a case against you.
