What happens when an unpaid

credit card goes to an attorney?

Generally, a demand letter will be sent to you giving you a deadline to pay and advising you whether the claim will be sued upon. If the attorney proceeds with the lawsuit, then you may have to pay the attorney's fees and costs of litigation.
