Child Custody
My husband and I are recently divorced and have 2 minor children in common, he has been talking about walking away from them and just giving them to me. I already have sole custody of them, what other actions need to be taken for him to legally responsible for them anymore?

You could do a termination of parental rights. It's not an easy process however there is still no guarantee he would be absolved of child support obligations.

You really don't need to do anything. You could modify your parenting plan to give him no parenting time and then, later, modify his child support obligation to increase as a result of his lower parenting time. Termination of parental rights cases can be difficult and I've seen judges refuse to terminate rights when there is not another parent to assume the responsibilities. Honestly, termination cases are not worth it unless there is a reason for the other parent to be cut out of the kids' lives.
