Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

i have had a custody agreement with my x (we were never married) for a year now with me having physical custody. my son is 15 and no longer wishes to see his mother because of emotional abuse from her and this is backed by my sons therapist. My question is that about 2 1/2 years ago my son and my stepdaughter had some sexual improprioties that me and my new wife at the time dealt with promptly. My x knew of this incident when she signed the custody agreement giving my son to me and I am afraid that she will bring it up at the court date we heve to reduce her visitation. What can i say to the judge so that it doesnt overshadow the real issue of emotional abuse?

Ultimately, if you seek a modification to the current orders, the Court SHOULD only focus on those issues which have arisen SINCE the orders were entered. But, of course you should be prepared to address any topic that may be raised in case the Court allows it.

While I cannot, via email, tell you "what to say", we can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for modification.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
